۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Would you say that this statement is a lie? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Then why do you not, if you are exempt from the reckoning and recompense (punishment, etc.) 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then happiness and bounty and a garden of bliss. 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hellfire 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
