He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ HE FROWNED and turned away 1 Because there came unto him a blind man. 2 How could you know? Perhaps he would cleanse himself, 3 (He might) remember, and the Reminder might profit him. 4 Now he who waxes indifferent, 5 To him you attend; 6 though it is not thy concern, if he does not cleanse himself. 7 But as to him who came to thee striving earnestly, 8 and fearfully, 9 Him thou neglectest! 10 No! Indeed, these verses are a reminder; 11 Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance. 12 (It is) in Records held (greatly) in honour (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 13 lofty and pure, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 and angelic scribes. 16 Perish man! how ungrateful he is! 17 From what substance did He create him? 18 Out of a sperm-drop did He create him and then determined a measure for him, 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him. 21 Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again). 22 By no means he performed not that which He had commanded him. 23 Then let mankind look at his food - 24 For that We pour forth water in abundance, 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 And We made corn grow, 27 And grapes and herbage, 28 and olives and palms, 29 and dense orchards, 30 And fruits and grasses: 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 But when there comes the Deafening Blast 33 on the Day when each man shall flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 his consort, his sons, 36 Each man will have enough cares that day. 37 Some faces on that day will be radiant, 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And faces on that Day! upon them shall be gloom. 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 Such will be the Kafarah (disbelievers in Allah, in His Oneness, and in His Messenger Muhammad (Peace be upon him), etc.), the Fajarah (wicked evil doers). 42
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
