The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 on that Day will she recount all her tidings, 4 For your Lord will have commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. 8
