The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta Sin Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Verily therein is a sign; yet most of them are not believers. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
