The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a Prophet. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
