The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And by oath of the day that is a witness and by oath of a day in which the people present themselves. 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. God is witness over all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 the armies of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact the disbelievers are in denial. 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
