The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But nay, [O men,] you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
