The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the (Day) of Noise and Clamour? 2 Would that you knew what the crash is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise). 7 And for one whose scales prove light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what do you know what that is? 10 It is a blazing fire. 11
