We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 We spread the earth a carpet; what comfort We provide! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 Do not set up another god with God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers. 55 We have created jinn and human beings only that they might worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
