Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful? 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 Wherefore put thy trust in Allah; verily thou art on manifest truth. 79 Indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they have turned their backs retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
