In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ The Inevitable Hour! 1 What is the Inevitable Hour? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that laying-bare of the truth will be? 3 The tribes of Thamud and 'Aad belied the Striking Day. 4 Thamood, they were destroyed by the violent shout (of Gabriel), 5 And as for A’ad, they were destroyed by a severe thundering windstorm. 6 which He let loose upon them for seven nights and eight days in succession; so that (if you had been there) you might have seen people lying prostrate, as though they were uprooted trunks of hollowed palm trees. 7 Can you see any of their survivors? 8 And Pharaoh, and those before him, and the Cities Overthrown, committed habitual Sin. 9 They did not follow the Messenger of their Lord, and so He seized them with a severe grip. 10 Surely We bore you up in the ship when the water rose high, 11 So that We may make it a reminder to you, and that the retaining ear might retain it. 12 When the single blast is sounded on the trumpet, 13 and the earth and the mountains are lifted up and crushed with a single blow, 14 then, on that day, the Terror shall come to pass, 15 And the heaven will split asunder – so on that day it will be unstable. 16 And the angels shall be on the borders thereof; and on that Day eight shall bear over them the Throne of thy Lord. 17 On that day all your secrets will be exposed. 18 Then as to him who will be vouchsafed his book in his right hand, he shall say: here! read my book! 19 Verily I was sure that I should be a meeter of my reckoning. 20 Then he shall be in a life well-pleasing 21 In a Garden on high, 22 with clusters of fruit within easy reach. 23 “Eat and drink with pleasure – the reward of what you sent ahead, in the past days.” 24 But as for him who is given his book in his left hand, he shall say, 'Would that I had not been given my book 25 "And that I had never known, how my Account is? 26 “Alas, if only it had been just death.” 27 My wealth hath not availed me, 28 There hath perished from me my authority. 29 Lay hold of him and chain him; 30 Roast him in Hell, 31 then fasten him with a chain, seventy cubits long. 32 He did not believe in God the supreme, 33 And urged not on the feeding of Al-Miskin (the poor), 34 So no friend has he here this Day, 35 “Nor any food except the pus discharged from the people of hell.” 36 which only the sinners eat". 37

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
