The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the heaven and the Morning Star 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man look - from what is he created. 5 He was created from ejaculated water 6 issuing from between the loins [of man] and the pelvic arch [of woman]. 7 Surely (Allah) is able to bring him back (to life)! 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 [man] will have no power, and no helper. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 and it is certainly not a jest. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
