Then said he who believed, 'My people, follow me, and I will guide you in the way of rectitude. 38 My people, this worldly life is only the means (to an end), but the life hereafter will be the everlasting abode. 39 Whoever commits evil deeds will be recompensed to the same degree. The righteously striving believer, male or female, will enter Paradise wherein they will receive their sustenance without any account being kept. 40 ۞ "And O my people, how is it that I summon you to salvation, the while you summon me to the fire? 41 You invite me to disbelieve in Allah and associate with Him that of which I have no knowledge, and I invite you to the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver. 42 The idols to which you invite me certainly have no claim to be deities in this world or in the life to come. Our return is to God and the transgressors will be the dwellers of hell fire. 43 You will soon recall what I have told you. I entrust God with my affairs. God is Well Aware of His servants." 44 Eventually Allah saved the person endowed with faith from all the evils of their guile, and a woeful chastisement encompassed the Pharaonites. 45 The Fire! They are exposed thereto morning and evening. And on the Day whereon the Hour will uprise, it will be said: cause the family of Fir'awn to enter the most grievous torment. 46 Just imagine when they will remonstrate with one another in Hell. The weak ones will say to those who waxed proud: “We were your followers. Will you, then, lighten for us a part of our suffering of the Fire?” 47 Those who had been arrogant will say: "We are all in this (Fire)! Truly, Allah has judged between (his) Servants!" 48 Those in the Fire will say to the warders of Hell: "Ask your Lord to reduce the punishment by a day for us." 49 but they will say, "Did not your messengers come to you with clear signs?" They will say, "Yes." The keepers will say, "Then pray [for help] yourselves." But the prayer of those who deny the truth is of no avail. 50
