Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 So when the greatest universal disaster arrives, 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 then as for him who was insolent 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Verily the Scorch! that shall be his resort. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the Day they see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the grave) no more than one evening or one morning. 46
