Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed man is very ungrateful towards his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
