Surely warners came to the people of Pharaoh. 41 They cried lies to Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with the seizing of One mighty, omnipotent. 42 Are the unbelievers of yours better than these, or is there an exemption for you in the scriptures? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 We command but once: Our will is done in the twinkling of an eye; 50 We have indeed destroyed many a people like you. Is there anyone who would receive admonition? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
