Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
