Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha Mim! 1 A revelation from Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 2 a Book whose verses have been well-expounded; an Arabic Qur'an for those who have knowledge, 3 As a giver of good tidings and a warner; but most of them turn away, so they do not hear. 4 And say: "Our hearts are immured against what you call us to. There is a deafness in our ears, and a veil lies between us and you. So act (your way), we are acting (ours)." 5 (Muhammad), say, "I am a mere mortal like you. I have received a revelation that your Lord is the only One. So be up-right and obedient to Him and seek forgiveness from Him. Woe to the pagans, 6 who do not pay Zakah, and who deny the Hereafter. 7 Indeed for those who believed and did good deeds, is a limitless reward. 8
