Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 and gives a little, grudgingly? 34 Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 and that in time [the nature of] all his striving will be shown [to him in its true light,] 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 And that to your Lord is the finality 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 That it is He who makes you rich and contented; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 And that it is He Who earlier destroyed the tribe of Aad? 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 as well as the people of Noah before them - [since,] verily, they all had been most willful in their evildoing and most overweening 52 and He overthrew the subverted cities [of Sodom and Gomorrah] 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner, of the warners of old. 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
