The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the pluckers (the angels of death), violently plucking (the souls of the unbelievers), 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 And by those who float in space, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 And those who govern the event, 5 On the Day, the shiverer shivers 6 And there will follow it the next blast. 7 Hearts on that day shall palpitate, 8 Their eyes cast down. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 What! when we are rotten bones? 11 They say: "It would in that case, be a return with loss!" 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 And they will wake up suddenly. 14 Has there come to you the story of Musa (Moses)? 15 when his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa, 16 (Saying:) Go thou unto Pharaoh - Lo! he hath rebelled - 17 Then say: Have you (a desire) to purify yourself: 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 And he showed him the tremendous token. 20 but he belied and disobeyed, 21 and brusquely turned his back [on Moses]; 22 then, he gathered, proclaimed, 23 Saying, "I am your Lord, Most High". 24 So God seized him for the punishment of the Hereafter and this world. 25 surely there is in this a lesson for the God-fearing. 26

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
