Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 high above? 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 and when Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 So as for he who transgressed 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Lo! the Garden will be his home. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
