The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
