Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

SAY: "I seek refuge with the Sustainer of the rising dawn, 1 From the mischief of created things; 2 from the evil of the darkness when it gathers 3 "and from the evil of all human beings bent on occult endeavours, 4 “And from the evil of the envier when he is envious of me.” 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
