And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and by night. Will you not, then, use your reason? 138
