The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Occurrence occurs, 1 There is about its happening no lie. 2 (it will) abase (some) and exalt (others). 3 When the earth is shaken violently, 4 and the mountains crumbled, 5 and become like scattered dust particles, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And (as to) the companions of the left hand; how wretched are the companions of the left hand! 9 And the foremost in the race, the foremost in the race: 10 (The foremost ones) will be the nearest ones to God 11 in the Gardens of Delight, 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 and how few of the later folk) 14 On studded thrones. 15 Reclining thereon facing each other. 16 Surrounded by immortal boys. 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 They shall not hear therein vain or sinful discourse, 25 only the words of peace and tranquillity. 26 The Companions of the Right 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 And banana-trees (with fruits), one above another. 29 And a shade ever-spread. 30 Gushing water, 31 And fruit in plenty 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 and raised couches 34 and the noble maidens that We have created 35 and shall have made them virgins, 36 Devoted [to their husbands] and of equal age, 37 For those on the right hand; 38

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
