The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 and the Mount Sinai 2 And by this land made safe; 3 Assuredly We have created man in goodliest mould, 4 We then turned him towards all the lowest of the low states. 5 Except those who accepted faith and did good deeds – for them is a never ending reward. 6 Who should then make you deny the Judgement after this? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8
