Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We surely know those of you who go forward and those of you who lag behind. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
