And it is He Who has created ears and eyes and hearts for you; very little is the right you acknowledge. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and (in) His (control) is the alternation of the night and the day; do you not then understand? 80 Aye! they say the like of that which said the ancients. 81 They say: when we are dead, and have become dust and bones, shall we verily be raised up? 82 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before; this is not but legends of the former peoples." 83 Say: "To whom does the earth and whosoever is upon it then belong, if you know?" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say: "Who is (the) Lord of the seven heavens, and (the) Lord of the Great Throne?" 86 They will quickly say, "It is God." Say, "Will you not then have fear of Him?" 87 Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know? 88 They will reply spontaneously, "It is God." Ask them, "Why has falsehood bewitched you?" 89 No, We have brought the truth to them, but they are liars. 90 God has not begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Had this been so, each god would have taken away what he had created with him, and some would have risen over the others. God is much too glorious for what they attribute (to Him)! 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
