▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
For any who fears to stand before his Lord are two Gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 These Gardens will abound in green, blooming branches. 48 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 49 In both of them are two springs, flowing. 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 53 Reclining on carpets whereof the linings will be of brocade; and the fruit of the two Gardens shall be near at hand. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Therein are maidens of modest gaze, whom neither a man nor a jinn had ever touched before them. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 lovely as rubies, beautiful as coral -- 58 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 61 And beside these there shall be two Gardens. 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 green, green pastures -- 64 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 69 Therein will be damsels agreeable and beauteous. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 75 [In such a paradise will they dwell,] reclining upon meadows green and carpets rich in beauty. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, full of Majesty, Bounty and Honour. 78
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
