Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 And those [angels] who bring criterion 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To clear or to warn. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 And when the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of sorting out (the men of Paradise from the men destined for Hell). 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with men of sin. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a day in which they will not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
