The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the heavens and that which comes in the night -- 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man consider of what he was created; 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 Indeed Allah is Able to return him. 8 A day when the secrets will be examined. 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 and by the earth ever bursting with verdure, 12 It is surely a decisive utterance; 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 But I am planning a plan. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
