The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who has ordained and guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 But the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
