It is He who gave you ears, eyes and hearts, yet how seldom you are grateful! 78 It is He who multiplied you on the earth, and it will be before Him that you will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 No, but they said what the ancients said before them: 81 They said: "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected indeed? 82 Assuredly this we have been promised - we and our fathers - aforetime: naught is this but the fables of the ancients. 83 Say, "To whom do the earth and all therein belong? Tell me, if you have any knowledge?" 84 They will say: Allah's. Say: Will you not then mind? 85 Say: 'Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of the mighty Throne?' 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say, “In Whose hand is the control over all things, and He provides refuge, and none can provide refuge against Him, if you know?” 88 They will say: "God's." Say: "Then why are you so deluded?" 89 In fact We brought the Truth to them, and indeed they are liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 The knower of the absent and the present, too exalted is He for what they associate (with Him)! 92
