NOW, VERILY, it is We who have created man, and We know what his innermost self whispers within him: for We are closer to him than his neck-vein. 16 (Remember!) that the two receivers (recording angels) receive (each human being after he or she has attained the age of puberty), one sitting on the right and one on the left (to note his or her actions). 17 He utters not a word, but there is a vigilant watcher at hand. 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 (He will be told), "You were completely heedless of this day. We have removed the veil from your eyes and your vision will now be sharp and strong". 22 And his companion will say: this is that which with me is ready. 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 "Who set up another god beside Allah: Throw him into a severe penalty." 26 ۞ and his associate [Satan] will say, "Lord, I did not make him transgress, he had already gone far astray himself." 27 He will say: Do not quarrel in My presence, and indeed I gave you the threatening beforehand: 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
