The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Indeed, the criminals are in error and madness. 47 The day when they are dragged on their faces into the Fire: 'Taste now the touch of Sakar!' 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our command is but one, like a glance of the eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All that they do is noted in (their) Books (of Deeds): 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In the seat of honor with a most Powerful King. 55
