Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 and loosen the knot from my tongue 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 And share my task, 32 "That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint, 33 And may make mention of Thee oft. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 "When We inspired your mother with that which We inspired. 38 'Put the baby into a chest and then throw him in the river. The river will throw him up on the shore, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him.' And I spread My love over you in order that you might be reared in My sight. 39 What time thy sister was walking along and saying: shall I direct you unto one who will take care of him? Thus We returned thee to thy mother that she might cool her eyes and she might not grieve. And thou slewest a person, but We delivered thee from sorrow, and We tried thee with several trials. Then thou tarriedst for years among the people of Madyan then thou camest according to fate, O Musa! 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 go forth, both of you, unto Pharaoh: for, verily, he has transgressed all bounds of equity! 43 Both of you must speak with him in a gentle manner so that perhaps he may come to himself or have fear (of God)." 44 They said: "Our Lord! Verily! We fear lest he should hasten to punish us or lest he should transgress (all bounds against us)." 45 He said: Fear not, surely I am with you both: I do hear and see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 "'Verily it has been revealed to us that the Penalty (awaits) those who reject and turn away.'" 48 Pharaoh said, "Who then is the Lord of you both, Moses?" 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 He said: What then is the state of the generations of old? 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
