And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
