Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 The day We shall gather the righteous to (Allah) Most Gracious, like a band presented before a king for honours, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
