And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 What! do you call upon Ba'l and forsake the best of the creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
