SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Almighty, the All-Forgiving!" 66 Say: "This is a message tremendous: 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
