Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he loves wealth to the extreme. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
