The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
