And He it is Who brought forth for you hearing and sight and hearts, little thanks ye give! 78 And He it is who has caused you to multiply on earth; and unto Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and death, and to Him (is due) the alternation of Night and Day: will ye not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what the men of old said. 81 They say: "Is it that when we are dead and have been reduced to dust and bones, shall we then be raised up again? 82 "Such things have been promised to us and to our fathers before! they are nothing but tales of the ancients!" 83 (Muhammad), say to them, "Tell me, if you know, to whom does the earth and its contents belong?" 84 They will say: "To God." Say: "Then why do you not bethink yourselves?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Say: 'In whose Hands is the Kingdom of all things, He protects, and none protects against Him, if you have knowledge' 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 He has the knowledge of all seen and unseen things. He is too exalted to be considered equal to anything else. 92
