And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 Behold! when the two receivers receive - one on the right hand and one on the left a sitter. 17 He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown: that will be the Day whereof Warning (had been given). 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this. Now We have removed your veil and so your vision today is sharp. 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 and an idol worshipper. Throw him into severe torment". 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 [Allah] will say, "Do not dispute before Me, while I had already presented to you the warning. 28 The sentence that cometh from Me cannot be changed, and I am in no wise a tyrant unto the slaves. 29
