Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He made its night dark, and started its light. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and making the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Lo! hell will be his home. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They (the disbelievers) ask you regarding the Last Day, as to when is its appointed time. 42 What concern do you have regarding its explanation? (You are not bound to tell them) 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
