The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every (kind of) scandal-monger and-backbiter, 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 Never! He will certainly be thrown into the Crushing One. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 The Fire of God kindled 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Indeed it will be shut over them. 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
