And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
