Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (Prophet Muhammad): 'For this I ask of you no wage, and I am not of those who take things upon themselves. 86 this is simply an admonition to mankind, 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
