Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 then everyone will know what he has sent ahead, and what he has left behind. 5 O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know whatsoever ye do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
