Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Verily! Man (disbeliever) is ungrateful to his Lord; 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when the contents of the graves are brought out and poured forth (all mankind is resurrected). 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
